Terms and Conditions
1. General
Auto Shield provides vehicle protection and customization services, including PPF installation, vinyl wrapping, and ceramic coatings, across the Northwest of England, Cheshire, Merseyside, and North Wales. All services are subject to availability and may be modified or discontinued at our discretion. We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone for any reason at any time.
2. Booking and Payment
– Consultation and Booking: A free in-person consultation is required prior to booking any service. Consultations can be scheduled at your home or work address within our service area. Bookings are confirmed upon receipt of a 25% deposit, which will be outlined in your quotation.
– Payment: Full payment is due upon completion of the service unless otherwise agreed in writing. We accept payment via bank transfer or the use of any debit or credit card, these payments are made using our booking platform “Urable”. Upon paying your 25% deposit you agree to a pre authorised final payment upon completion of work. This will be taken before or Automatically upon completion of all requested services / work as agreed during approval of work. Late payments may incur additional fees.
– Cancellations: Cancellations must be made at least 48 hours prior to the scheduled collection date. Cancellations within 48 hours may result in the forfeiture of your deposit.
3. Services
– Scope of Work: Services include PPF installation, vinyl wrapping, ceramic coatings, and related vehicle protection and customization as detailed in your quotation. Specific inclusions (e.g., door shuts, backs of doors for vinyl wrapping) must be requested and confirmed prior to booking.
– Concierge Service: We provide complimentary, insured trailered collection and delivery within the Northwest of England, Cheshire, Merseyside, and North Wales. Collection and delivery times are estimates and may be affected by unforeseen circumstances.
– Quality Assurance: We strive to deliver all services to the highest standard using premium materials, such as STEK DYNOshield PPF and flexible ceramic coatings. However, results may vary based on the condition of your vehicle and environmental factors.
4. Customer Responsibilities
– You must ensure your vehicle is in a suitable condition for the requested service (e.g., clean and free of major damage unless otherwise agreed).
– You are responsible for disclosing any existing damage, previous bodywork repairs including paint rectification work carried out prior, modifications, or aftermarket parts that may affect the service.
– You must provide accurate information for scheduling consultations and trailered collection/delivery.
5. Liability
– Auto Shield is not liable for any pre-existing damage to your vehicle or for damage caused by factors beyond our control, such as damaged paint work, paint lifting during the process of installation, or any accidents during transit not due to our negligence.
– Our trailered collection and delivery service is fully insured, and we will take all reasonable steps to ensure the safe transport of your vehicle. However, you are responsible for ensuring your vehicle is insured for transit.
– We are not responsible for any loss of personal items left in the vehicle during service.
6. Warranties and Guarantees
– Service Warranty: We provide a warranty on our services as follows: PPF installations (10 years, as per STEK DYNOshield warranty), ceramic coatings (3 years), and vinyl wraps (varies by product, typically 3 years). Warranties cover defects in materials or workmanship and do not cover damage due to misuse, accidents, or improper maintenance.
– Customer Satisfaction: If you are not satisfied with our service, please contact us within 7 days of delivery, and we will work to resolve the issue to your satisfaction.
7. Intellectual Property
All content on our website, including text, images, and logos, is the property of Auto Shield and may not be reproduced without our written consent.
8. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from these terms will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
9. Changes to Terms and Conditions
We may update these Terms and Conditions at our discretion to reflect changes in our business practices or legal requirements. The updated terms will be posted on our website, www.auto-shield.co.uk, and your continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
